Micaela N. Chapa
Micaela Chapa is an associate attorney of the firm and works primarily in the firm’s litigation department. Ms. Chapa also assists in the employment law and municipal law departments.
In 2020, Ms. Chapa graduated from the University of the Pacific with a B.A. in Political Science where she was a member of the Pacific Legal Scholars honors program. She joined Neumiller & Beardslee in 2023 upon earning her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Ms. Chapa was admitted to practice in 2023.
While at McGeorge, Ms. Chapa was selected to participate in the American Bar Association Judicial Clerkship Program, became a founding board member of the Womxn of Color Collective McGeorge Chapter, and graduated in the top 22% of her class.
Ms. Chapa also participated in the Global Lawyering Skills 1L Oral Argument Competition and was named the Top Overall Advocate for her written brief and oral argument score. In her second year of law school, Ms. Chapa was selected to join McGeorge’s Moot Court Program as a research assistant before joining as an Honors Board member in her final year of law school, where she acted as both a student coach and an oral advocate, arguing in the final regional round of the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
A Bay Area native, Ms. Chapa enjoys spending time with loved ones, attending concerts, camping, and baking.
