Michael joined the firm in 2007 from the University of California, Davis “King Hall” School of Law and has experienced tremendous success as a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, where his thorough understanding of the law and exceptional work product have made him an indispensable resource for clients and colleagues alike. He has assisted a diverse clientele ranging from private individuals and small businesses to large organizations and public entities. Neumiller & Beardslee has long relied on Michael’s legal acumen in important cases featuring complex legal issues and high stakes. His record on appeal is one of success, including a published opinion that has established law throughout the State of California. Exemplifying Neumiller & Beardslee’s commitment to service, Michael is devoted to his community, as illustrated through his service as the Editor-in-Chief of Across the Bar, the official publication of the San Joaquin County Bar Association, and as a past chair of its Barristers Section; as a graduate of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Stockton program; as a longtime member of the Judge Consuelo M. Callahan American Inn of Court; and as an officer on the board of the Cal Club of San Joaquin, the local chapter of the University of California, Berkeley’s alumni association. Michael was also awarded the San Joaquin County Bar Association’s 2014 Outstanding New Lawyer Award.
