Ricardo Z. Aranda is a principal attorney with Neumiller & Beardslee. His practice areas include employment law and litigation. Mr. Aranda joined the firm in 2014 and has been practicing law in the Central Valley since being admitted to practice in 2008. During this time Mr. Aranda has handled a variety of litigation matters for private individuals, businesses, bankruptcy trustees, and public agencies. Mr. Aranda also regularly advises employers on personnel matters.
Mr. Aranda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stanford University. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 2008. While at Hastings, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Administrative Law. Mr. Aranda also received recognition for his Moot Court persuasive writing. Before entering law school, Mr. Aranda worked as a legal assistant for a distinguished Palo Alto law firm.
Mr. Aranda is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California and all federal courts in California. He is a member of the San Joaquin County Bar Association and is a frequent contributor to its official publication, Across the Bar. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Judge Consuelo M. Callahan American Inn of Court and on the Executive Board of the Abandoned Cat Team/ACT Spay-Neuter Clinic in Stockton. Mr. Aranda is graduate of the 2014-2015 class of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Stockton program.
