Michael
F. McGrew serves Of Counsel with the
law firm of Neumiller & Beardslee. He has developed
expertise in the practice areas of public law, land use
and environmental law, and water law.
Prior to becoming an Of Counsel
attorney, Mr. McGrew practiced law for over thirty years
with the San Joaquin County Counsel’s Office. He
retired on Labor Day 2003 as Special Assistant County
Counsel. Mr. McGrew has been counsel to the Planning Commission,
the Advisory Water Commission, the Local Agency Formation
Commission, numerous special districts, San Joaquin General
Hospital, the Health Plan of San Joaquin, and the Children
and Families Commission.
In 1963, Mr. McGrew received his
A.B. in History from the University of California,
Berkeley. In 1971, he earned his Juris Doctor from Hastings
College of the Law, University of
California and was admitted to practice in California.
He is a member of the San Joaquin County Bar Association
and the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice
before the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Northern Districts,
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme
Court.
